100 Years of Everyday Life in our Community (1925-2025) - APRIL, 2026

The Merrill Historical Society is creating a community photo book to celebrate the past 100 years of everyday life in our town, and we invite you to be part of it. We are seeking photographs from 1925–2025 that capture daily life and shared experiences in our community.

We welcome photos featuring:

Community events and celebrations
Clubs, organizations, and volunteer groups
Sports teams and recreational activities
People at work—on farms, in shops, businesses, or public service
Family life and traditions
Neighborhoods, streets, and familiar local landmarks

We invite everyone in our community to take part in this special project—
your photos and memories are what make our story complete.
Whether you've recently moved to town or your roots go back generations,
every contribution is valued and appreciated. We are also interested in identifying century families—those who have called our community home for 100 years or more.

Photo submissions will be accepted Tuesday, April 14th through Friday, April 17th [9 am to 6 pm Note: Closed for lunch from 1 to 2 pm] and Saturday, April 18th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Merrill Historical Society and Museum. Look for more information in the Foto News.

Original photos will be handled with care, and can either be dropped off for later return or digitized in real-time. Digital submissions are welcome, but must be of good quality and high resolution.
